It's time for the National Novel Writing Month again!
NaNoWriMo 2009 kicks off on Sunday 1st November. The challenge? Write a 50,000 word novel before midnight on Monday 30th November. The reward? The knowledge that you've got a hefty chunk of a book written and a spiffy certificate to download and print out.
This year, Waterstone's in Festival Place is offering support for NaNoWriMo participants. The meeting schedule is:
Wednesday 28th October 6pm-8pm
General meeting to meet fellow writers and discuss the event and your plot (if any!)
Wednesday 4th November 6pm-8pm
A chance to discuss how your novel is going, as well as get some writing done. Power will be available, so please feel free to bring your laptops!
Wednesday 18th November 6pm-8pm
As the deadline approaches, this is another chance to work on your novel in a supportive environment.
All meetings will take place in Cafe Nero, upstairs, so hopefully drinks and nibbles will be available to keep us going!
