Privacy Policy
- If you give us your email address (for example, when registering on the message board), we promise we won’t sell it.
- We won’t send unsolicited emails either, for that matter.
- If you decide to join the Basingstoke Writers’ Circle, we’ll ask for a bit more information so we can stay in touch with you. Your name, email address and a contact telephone number will be stored for our use only.
- We won’t go around making copies of our users’ details, except for back-up purposes. These will be held securely away from our public web site.
- Our web statistics provider (Google) may want to give you a cookie for tracking purposes. You can accept or reject this cookie; not taking it won’t affect your use of the site.
- Likewise, our message board may give you cookies if you want it to remember who you are.
- Links to other web sites will take you out of our area of responsibility. If you don’t think we should be linking to a particular site for whatever reason, contact the web master and we’ll decide if the link should be removed.
